About the Mission:

Please join us as we stand in silent Honor and Respect for Commodore Carl James Smith, 79 U S Marine Corp. Veteran for his final services on Friday, 26 April 2024. Carl went to be with the Lord on Friday, 29 December 2023.

Carl’s Life was marked by service to his Country, dedicating 30 years to the U.S. Navy, achieving the esteemed rank of Commodore during Desert Storm. His commitment extended to the State of West Virginia, where he served for over 30 years before retiring as the State Geologist and Director of West Virginia Geological Survey. A proud member of the Military Officers Association in Florida, a devoted Lions Club member in Palm Harbor Chapter 11.

Instructions:

Staging: 10:30 AM meet in the parking lot to the left when you enter the
holding area.
Briefing: RC will brief every at the staging.

Please remember when you are going to the committal area to not block anyone from leaving. If we are the first ones there please pass the committal area and park far enough down so everyone can leave without having to wait for us to leave.

Please join us as we say, “Thank You” and “God Speed” to another of our native sons who willingly gave of his time and effort to defend your freedom and liberties.

Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
