About the Mission:
James Kenneth Fling Honorably served as an Aviation Metalsmith in the United States Navy during WWII, 1942-1946. He earned the World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal.
Ken was proud of his service in World War II, always wearing a WW II vet cap. He was a Life Member of the VFW and a member of the Commemorative Air Force. He was an active member of the Coyote Squadron, CAF, in Corsicana.
