Veterans and Military Children Awareness Rally
Columbia, South Carolina – April 26, 2026
About the Mission:

The 2026 State Legacy Ride of the American Legion Riders of South Carolina raises awareness of the needs of military Veterans and their children and ends at the South Carolina State House for an awareness rally. Community leaders and the public will see the riders into the state house and then conduct a ceremony honoring those who have served our country and their children to commemorate The Month of the Military Child in April.

Instructions:

Briefing: 12:00 PM. After the briefing on the sidewalk on Assembly Street, we will establish a flag line on the steps for their arrival. Upon arrival, we will reposition the flag line in front of the state house for the ceremony at 1:00 PM.

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
Large Bike Flags will not be needed.
Water will be provided.
