About the Mission:

RM2 Daniel E. Walton proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserve. He was awarded: the U.S. Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal; and the National Defense Service Medal. After his military service, he served his community in the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, for over 50 years. He spent most of his career as a Deputy Sheriff and became the Chief Deputy. He also took a position as an investigator, for the State of Ohio and worked at the Mt. Vernon Developmental Center, while always remaining an auxiliary Deputy. Daniel also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles

Flag line: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, during visitation
Service: 1:00 PM
The timing of the Final Salute will be at the discretion of the Ride Captain
Following the service, we will escort to Mount View Cemetery, 307 Wooster Rd, Mount Vernon, where we will stand a flag line during the graveside service. This will conclude the mission

Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
