A proud U.S. Army veteran, Clell served his country honorably from 1961 to 1962. Following his military service, he dedicated 16 years of his life to working at AK Steel, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Clell’s passion for service extended far beyond his professional life; he was a pillar of his community, playing a vital role in establishing the Norton Branch Fire Department, Good Samaritans of Grayson, the American Red Cross of Carter County, Adult Education services, and the Grayson Ministers Association. His faith was a guiding force in his life and he was instrumental in founding the Faith Freewill Baptist Church, serving as Pastor to numerous congregations across Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, and Tennessee
