Daniel Martz Johnson served his country with distinction, enlisting immediately after high school. Mr. Johnson’s initial AFSC was (981X0) Dental assistant. During his enlistment he started working on his Undergraduate degree, receiving it in 1996. After his initial enlistment, Mr. Johnson became a Hospital Administrator with the USAF Reserves. Later, Daniel went full time in the USAF until his retirement in 2015. He reached the rank of (O-5) Lt. Colonel upon his retirement. His awards included:
Meritorious Service medal
AF Commendation with 2 oak leaf clusters
AF Outstanding Unit Citations with 5 Oak leaf Clusters
Good Conduct Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters
National Defense Service Ribbon
Iraq Campaign with 12 service star
GWOT Medal AF Expeditionary Medal
Plus other medals and Ribbons.
This will be a two part mission starting with a Silent Flag line at Darby Funeral Home, followed by a LEO led Rolling Honor Guard to Georgia National Cemetery. At GNC we will Stand a Silent Flag line while Military Honors are rendered by the USAF Honors Team.
