The Northwest Florida Patriot Guard will be honored to escort Master Sergeant Steven Herschel Bost to his/her final resting place at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Florida, where we will stand a Color Guard and Silent Flag Line for his service to a Grateful Nation. MSgt Bost served for over 24 years in the United States Air Force, specializing in Electronic Warfare. He was awarded the following decorations: Air Force Commendation w/2 devices, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award w/6 devices, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/6 devices, National Defense Service Medal w/1 device, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal w/1 device, Humanitarian Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon w/1 device, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award w/4 devices, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon w/1 device, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon/Rifle and Air Force Training Ribbon.
He was born on March 12,1953, and passed from this earth on January 25, 2026, at the age of 72.

Naval Air Station Pensacola requires DOT approved helmets, appropriate eye protection, long sleeve shirts, full fingered gloves, long trousers and leather footwear covering the ankles. These required safety items must always be worn while riding on NAS Pensacola. Military Installations prohibit the carry and/or possession of Privately Owned Weapons while on Federal property – with or without a conceal carry permit.
