The Northwest Florida Patriot Guard will be honored to escort Lieutenant Colonel Richard Keith Joiner to his final resting place at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Florida, where we will stand a Color Guard and Silent Flag Line for his service to a grateful Nation.LtCol Joiner joined the United States Marine Corps on September 20, 1961, and served as a Naval Aviator flying the C-130 aircraft and Huey helicopters. During his tenure in the United States Marine Corps, he received the Air Medal (w/35 Strike-Flight awards), Navy Commendation Medal (w/combat V), Navy Commendation Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Meritorious Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (w/7 stars), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation and Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation.
He was born June 10, 1937, and passed from this earth on February 7, 2026, at the age of 88.

Instructions:
Naval Air Station Pensacola requires DOT approved helmets, appropriate eye protection, long sleeve shirts, full fingered gloves, long trousers and leather footwear covering the ankles. These required safety items must be worn at all times while riding on NAS Pensacola. Military Installations prohibit the carry and/or possession of Privately Owned Weapons while on Federal property – with or without a conceal carry permit.

9:50 am – KSU St Mark United Methodist Church, 2203 N 12th Ave, Pensacola FL
10:00 am – Meet with family
10:30 am – Escort to Barrancas National Cemetery, with LEO support
11:00 am – Military Honors observed at Site A
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
