As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and watch you while you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family for your loss. May the comforting words and actions from family and friends continue to strengthen you until you can stand firm. May you also hear new and old memories of your loved one to strengthen you through the difficult times. I hope you also get a measure of comfort and peace in God's promise, found in the last book of the Holy Scripture: "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)
