Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one. As a nation, we are blessed that there are those who are willing to serve their country to protect our freedoms and way of life. I wish you peace and comfort in your time of grief. I hope that you can take a small measure of comfort in knowing that your loved one is part of the 3% of Americans who have donned a uniform and were willing to sacrifice everything for their country as well as the men to their left and right. God Bless you and God Bless America.

My wife and I wish to extend our condolences on your loss.

We stand with feet planted firmly on rich soil knowing what freedom is. Because of the veterans, I am free to honor God and country without persecution. Where there is injustice, I am free to fight. Where there is silence, I am free to speak. Where there is hate, I am free to love.

As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and watch you while you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.
