    ABOUT THE MISSION:
    We have been invited by the family of Joseph Stephen Self, 62, US Army, Fayetteville, NC, to stand in his honor. Mr. Self served our country as a highly decorated Green Beret with 21 years of active service and eight years as a civilian training others to fight for this country. He served with courage, honor, and selfless duty to country until his passing. It is now our honor to stand for him.

    PRIMARY STAGING DETAILS:
    13 Apr 2018

    Primary Staging Time: 11:00 A.M.
    Marathon Gas Station
    5996 Crider Drive
    Catlettsburg, Kentucky - 41129

    Ride Captain:

    Special Instructions:
    KSU: 11:15 am to Wilson Funeral Home, 1270 KY-2565, Louisa, KY 41230.
    Funeral: 1:00 pm

    We will escort Mr. Self to his final resting place at the Self Family Cemetery on Little Blaine Creek (Mattie Road), approximately 12-15 miles from the funeral home, directly following the service.

    Please bring your 3’x5’ American flags, dress for the current weather conditions, and arrive hydrated. Warmer temperatures are expected.

    If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
    Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

    It is with great sadness that I learned of the loss of this hero. We mourn
