    The family of Cpl Gerald D. DeLong has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Riders' presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest.

    Cpl DeLong faithfully served his country in the U.S. Marines and performed duties as a field radio operator.

    Upon completion of his service, Cpl DeLong received an honorable discharge and during his time in service, awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device (60), and the Good Conduct Medal.

    Cpl Delong is survived by his daughter.

    Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and stand in honor and respect for our hero and his family.

    Following the Viewing for Stage 1, there will be an Escort (LEO?) to CCNC. Large Bike Flags are requested.

    Please hydrate.

Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten.
