    ABOUT THE MISSION:
    Patriots, we have again been called upon by the family of one of America’s heroes to stand in honor of their loved one's service to our country.

    TSgt Philip “Phil” Jackson Kirilov, USAF, Korea and Vietnam, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018.

    Phil proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and served as a Master Shooter on the USAF pistol team. He retired as a Tech Sergeant after 20 years of service.

    After retirement he worked and contributed to NASA as an engine mechanic working on the Saturn Five Rocket and also was one of the first to work on the first super computer. He was a member of both the VFW and American Legion.
    Phil was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and a friend to all and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years; 3 daughters, and his grandson, who currently serves our country, and 2 great-grandchildren.

    Special Instructions:
    We will set a flag line for the arrival of family and friends for a visitation, followed by a memorial service. Upon completion of the memorial dervice, we will mount up and escort TSgt Kirilov, his family and friends to his final resting place.

    Upon arrival at the cemetery, we will again set a flag line and stand in silent honor during the interment service and as military honors are performed.

    My Sympathies to the Family of MR. Phillip. We have once again lost a great Patriot and lives of those in the Rocky Mount Tarboro area will forever be diminished for this loss. IT will be an honor to see you to your final duty station.
