ABOUT THE MISSION:The family of John David Dowdy, 90, requests the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line honoring their loved one and hero.
Seaman Dowdy proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II, 1945-1946. He was awarded the Victory Medal.
He retired after forty years as a chemist at Monsanto.
He was married to his wife for 65 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
