    ABOUT THE MISSION:
    The family of Herschel Ray, 84, of Marietta, Georgia, has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders stand a silent flag line of honor and respect. I have informed the family that it will be a privilege and an honor to do so. Mr. Ray served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War. After military service he worked with Lockheed Martin for almost fifty years.

    This will be a two day, two stage mission.
