    David L. Colpetzer, Veteran, USA - Vietnam, ANC, Virginia - 09 Mar 2018*

    SP5 David L. Colpetzer, 67, a USA Vietnam veteran, of Bellefonte, PA, died 15 September 2017. After graduating from high school, David enlisted in the US Army, and saw combat in Vietnam as a field medic and orthotic specialist. Among his many awards and commendations are a Bronze Star w/Valor, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Combat Medical Badge and Marksman Qualification Badge. After discharge, David went on to have a successful career with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) as a driver. He leaves a large and loving family, and will be missed by all. David, together with family and friends is being escorted to ANC by our Patriot Guard brothers and sisters from Pennsylvania.

    SP5 David L. Colpetzer is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 9 March 2018 at approximately 1500 hours from the Administration Building. PGR has been invited to attend the services by his family, and we will be there to stand tall silent and proud in honor of this proud United States Army medic, his family, friends and comrades at arms.
