    ABOUT THE MISSION:
    Sp4 Yankee proudly and honorably served our country during the Vietnam Conflict. He served as a helicopter door gunner. Among his medals are National Defense Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 Devices, Air Medal w/10 Oak Leaf Clusters, Aircraft Crewman Badge, and Marksman (M-14 Rifle) Badge.

    Richard's family has asked the Patriot Guard to honor him during his funeral and burial with full military honors.

    My wife and I offer our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of an American hero. We pray that God gives you peace and strength to carry on in this difficult time. We are proud to honor the service this hero unselfishly gave for our great nation.

    I am thankful for Mr. Yankees' service and sacrifice for our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War . He is " FALLEN " never forgotten . May he Rest In Peace .

Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten.
