David Nicholas Ferrazzi, Veteran, USN - Phoenix, Arizona - 13 Feb 2018

    Honor Mission

    David Nicholas Ferrazzi, Veteran
    USN
    Phoenix, Arizona - 13 Feb 2018

    ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of David Nicholas Ferrazzi has requested the Patriot Guard Riders provide an escort and stand a flag line and it is our distinct honor and privilege to do so. We thank the Ferrazzi family for inviting us and allowing us to participate in showing David the honor and respect he so rightfully deserves.

David served in the United States Navy for five years. He was honorably discharged on 22 November 1959 after being involved in a serious auto accident. He entered the service with a rating of SN (Seaman). A few months prior to the accident, David enrolled in the USN Hospital Corps School at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center and attained the rating of HN (Hospitalman) E-3. As a Hospitalman, David would have been assigned to serve in one of these four areas: Administration, On Deck, Medical or Dental.

David consistently inspired those around him as a proud representative of the United States Navy and the United States of America.

America has lost a patriot and an American hero. The Patriot Guard Riders extend our heartfelt condolences to David's family and friends.

As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and watch you while you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.
