ABOUT THE MISSION:
Mr. Cain served in the United States Army Air Corps - Enlisted on November 4, 1942. Served with the 7th Carrier Squadron as a glider mechanic. Campaigns included Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Southern France, Air Combat Balkans, North Apennines and Po Valley. Honorably discharged on October 10, 1945. Awarded EAME Campaign Medal with 7 Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct Medal.
The family has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line at his funeral service and interment.
PRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 13 Jan 2018
Primary Staging Time: 1100 hrs
Ride Captain:
Special Instructions:Riders will stage at the funeral home to be briefed and to stand tall and silent as family and friends arrive.
After the service begins, flags will be returned to the support vehicle to be reset at the burial site located on the adjacent property.
Flags & Water:Flags Will Be Provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
STAGING #2 DETAILS: 13 Jan 2018
Staging #2 Time: 1300 hrs
Ride Captain:
Special Instructions:Riders will assist with setting flags and be prepared to stand tall and silent during the interment service.
At the MRC’s direction, flags will be returned to the flag support vehicle and riders will be debriefed and dismissed.
