    ABOUT THE MISSION:
    Roger L. Helgesen, Sr., 75, Green Bay, WI died peacefully, Sunday, January 7, 2018. Roger was born in Madison, WI, on November 3, 1942. He married in 1967, in Janesville, WI, shortly after his return from his tour of duty in Vietnam. Roger was a PFC specializing in communications.

    Roger was a Vietnam Veteran and was very proud of his military service. He was actively involved with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Green Bay and his coworker said Roger saw what we did and said he’d be proud if we’d stand for him if the time came.

    My sincere condolences to the family and friends of this American Hero, a grateful nation mourns your loss. Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing your loved one with all of us, their sense of duty and honor will live on for generations to come. God Bless you our Hero for a job well done.Stand down and rest in peace.
