My sincere condolences to the family and friends of this American Hero, a grateful nation mourns your loss. Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing your loved one with all of us, their sense of duty and honor will live on for generations to come. God Bless you our Hero for a job well done.Stand down and rest in peace.

As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and watch you while you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.

13 Jan., 2018-Dignified Transfer of PFC Juan Espino, USA (AD)

On a cold Saturday morning a total of 17 riders representing the Patriot Guard Riders from across Oklahoma and Kansas, along with a group of patriotic Blaine County Riders, came together to honor the service of US Army PFC Juan Espino as he was escorted from the Fallon Mortuary Service in Okla. City to the Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd St., in Liberal Kansas.

PGR met with the escorting Sgt. and the coach driver at Fallon Mortuary Services, then respectfully followed the coach to the second staging point in Geary, where we were met by PGR who swelled the ranks. Leaving Geary, we arrived in Watonga and were heartened to see a group of riders standing in the cold wind at the intersection of US 281 and US 270 to salute the Hero as the coach passed by.

Continuing on to the third staging point in Woodward, we were joined by more PGR, and continued the escort to, and through, the Hero’s hometown of Turpin, OK., where we were met by 2 riders from the SW Kansas PGR, who led us for the last few miles of the escort to our destination in Liberal, Kansas where the Military Honors Detail, and the family, awaited our arrival.

As we pulled in to the funeral home, we quickly formed a Respect Line and held our salutes as the Military Honors Detail acted as pallbearers and transferred PFC Espino from the coach to the interior of the building, and to his anxious parents.

After PFC Espino was settled, we conferred with the SW Kansas PGR members, and the mission continues in their care as they agreed with the family’s request to be there for PFC Espino and his family through the Visitation and the Services, and to escort them to the Interment site on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 in Liberal.

Thank you to all who took time out of their lives to do this Dignified Transfer and honor this Hero and his family.

Most of all, thank you PFC Juan Espino for your service to this great nation. May God Bless you. Rest in peace Sir, your mission is complete and you will not be forgotten.
