ABOUT THE MISSION:

A week ago I was invited to meet with US Army, Vietnam Veteran E3 Jerry Cecil Lairsey in his home. Jerry was on Hospice and familiar with the Patriot Guard Riders. Jerry had requested to meet me to invite our Riders to accompany him on his last mission. I was proud to accept on behalf of the PGR.
Mr. Laisey served in the US Army from 1964-1967 including a tour in Vietnam attaining a rank of E3. He was very proud of his service and intended that it be recognized and Honored on his last day.
This will be a 2 day Mission:
Day 1) We will stand a Flag Line outside Whiddon – Shiver Funeral Home, 10451 Hwy 84E, Thomasville, Ga. 31757 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday 13 January 2018 during the Viewing.
Day 2) We will stand a Flag Line outside Patten Holiness Church, 10755 Hwy 122, Thomasville, Ga. 31757, 2:15 pm until services start at 3:00 pm. After the services we will escort Mr. Lairsey to his final resting place, Sunset Memorial Gardens, 10526 Hwy 84E, Thomasville, Ga. 31757 with LEO leading, for Military Honors and Interment, where we will again stand a Flag Line in his Honor.
