    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that America has lost another True American HERO. The family of Hubert A. Nelson Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their loved one.
    Veteran Nelson passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the age of 93. Mr. Hubert A. Nelson Jr. served in the United States Navy during WWII on the same ship with his brother and also served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He received a National Defense and Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge. Rank and other awards and commendations are unknown.

    Visitation: 12:00 - 2:00 pm - Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile, Al
    Funeral Service: 2:00 pm - Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile, Al.

    The Patriot Guard Riders will arrive at Radney Funeral Home at 1:45pm and upon completion of the service, will ESCORT Veteran Hubert A. Nelson Jr., family and friends to Mobile Memorial Gardens Three Notch Road Mobile, Al for committal.
    Honor Guard and LEO will be provided.

    Mr. Nelson stood many a hard day and night so that we might be safe and free. Now it is our turn to stand and honor him for his service and sacrifice. Ride safely!

    It is with great sadness that I learned of the loss of this hero. We mourn
    with their family and friends. Though we mourn, we stand tall to honor them.
