    Yellow Ribbon Pre-Deployment Event - Jacksonville, Florida - 08 Dec 2017

    Yellow Ribbon Pre-Deployment Event
    Jacksonville, Florida - 08 Dec 2017

    ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have received a special request to join our Troop Heroes and the Yellow Ribbon Origination in a Pre-Deployment Ceremony for their deploying members. This event offers the PGR an opportunity to render our Honors and show our Respect to numerous members at one time, prior to their deployment to foreign soils in defense of our Country, our freedoms and our way of life.

The Yellow Ribbon Program is a cooperative network of military services, veteran service organizations, state and local government departments and other agencies that provide information, resources, referral and proactive outreach to service members and their families throughout all phases of the deployment cycle.

Their events focus on members and their family concerns in preparation for deployment and providing military and community resource information workshops and stress management. For those members that have returned from deployment, the event focuses on reconnecting with family, community and employers.

The Yellow Ribbon Program truly cares about its members and their families before, during and after deployment and will do whatever it takes to insure their well being.

Please bring your 3 x 5 flags to this awesome event, as this is an opportunity for us to honor and support patriots and their families at one time.
