    Snowball Express - Savannah, Georgia - 09 Dec 2017

    Snowball Express

    Savannah, Georgia - 09 Dec 2017

    ABOUT THE MISSION:
It's here! SAV Staging is 6:00AM Saturday Morning December 9th at the American Airlines ticket counter. Everyone will be allowed to park their motorcycles by the American Airlines Departure curb. We are working on hourly parking complimentary the day of the event.

After mission briefing, we will disperse to locate and assist families arriving for this event. Bring a bucket load of smile and a willingness to spend time interacting with these Gold Star families. Engage with these great kids in subjects that interest them. Interact as you do with your own grandchildren or great grandchildren for some of you.

Ask them if they have been on Snowball Express before, if they have friends they expect to see in Dallas/Fort Worth this year, what their favorite part was, if they have ever been to TX before, etc. Smile/grin, and laugh/giggle until it hurts! It will make your day and theirs and they will remember you when they come home tired and worn out from their Texas adventures, but eager to share in the brief time we will have with them before they load up for the trip home from the airport.

We will greet them, assist with baggage, create happy, memorable moments. If you wish, please wear Christmas gear. We are working on gate passes to go out to the departure gates. Those who send in their Full Name and DOB's as it appears on your ID will be pre-printed and ready to go. If you decide you want to participate and did not submit your information you may be able to participate. Don't forget the ID that matches your gate pass information so you can get through TSA.

"Rule of Two" Reminder - No PGR volunteer is to be alone with any child during this mission; at all times please adhere to the two person rule.

They will be returning December 12, 2017.

*** IMPORTANT *** Bear in mind that you will be entering an airport that is under the jurisdiction of local and federal authorities. No weapons are allowed within the terminal at any time. If you travel with a weapon, secure it prior to entering the airport.

I am honored and humbled to be the RCIC and POC for this Special Event. Email me your Full Name and DOB before Friday.
