    ABOUT THE MISSION:
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Eldon Baxter, 97, US Navy WWII Veteran, to participate in honoring his service to this Great Nation at his Funeral and Interment Services to be held on Thursday, 07 DEC 17.

    Mr. Baxter was the Quad Cities' last survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor, serving aboard the battleship USS West Virginia. The West Virginia was struck by 2 bombs and 7 torpedoes. Ironically, Mr. Baxter will be laid to rest on the 76th anniversary of that attack.

    RALLY TIME: 0930 hrs., PRB 0945 hrs. Immediately establish our flag lines for Funeral Services. On completion, we will escort to R.I. National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL for Interment Services. AL Post 246 will provide military honors.

    NOTE: All Safety Equipment required (Helmet, Boots, Long Sleeves, Full Finger Gloves)

    with their family and friends. Though we mourn, we stand tall to honor them.
