Badger Honor Flight - Madison, Wisconsin - 16 Sep 2017

    Badger Honor Flight
    Madison, Wisconsin - 16 Sep 2017

    ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Badger Honor Flight is making final preparations for the first Fall flight of 2017 this Saturday September 16th. Approximately 100 veterans and their Guardians will lift off from the Dane Co. Airport at 7 a.m. Join us as we welcome these men and women and thank them for their service as they begin the day.

Our last few flights have had HUGE gatherings of well wishers but only a few PGR in attendance. This is a time of celebration and joy and we all need that. We have room for lots more, so if you haven’t witnessed the joy as World War II and Korean War Veterans prepare for the big day or when they return from a day touring their memorials in Washington; please join us this Saturday.

If you have been a part of our reception in the past, we thank you and hope to see you again. Join us for our Welcome Home Celebration when they return. Arrive at the airport about 8 PM with your family, friends and we’ll have flags! Our plane is scheduled to touch down at 9:15 p.m.

Welcome home and thank you for your service to our country.
We fought a revolution. We won the revolution. We wrote the Constitution.
