    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    The family of HMC Merrill Harold Wilson has invited the Patriot Guard to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. HMC Wilson served honorably in the US Navy for 30 years and 27 days. His DD-214 lists the following awards: Eight Good Conduct Medals, Two National Defense Service Medals, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation, Marine Unit Commendation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal.

    Trahan Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, Pensacola, Florida is in charge of all arrangements. Service to be held at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, 5920 Lillian Hwy, Pensacola, Florida. Honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1100 hrs.
