    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    Michael Smolar, 60, passed away on July 15, 2017. Mr. Smolar served in the Army in the transportation division from 1974-1977, attaining the rank of Private Second Class. He was a truck driver and also served as a chauffer during his tour of duty in Germany. After his honorable discharge, Michael worked primarily as a mechanic and for a time was employed in that capacity with a traveling carnival maintaining the rides. He was a motorcycle rider for most of his life and was affiliated with a mc known as “Chinchillas”. Michael is survived by a daughter and a son.

    It is with great sadness that I learned of the loss of this hero. We mourn
    with their family and friends. Though we mourn, we stand tall to honor them.

Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten.
