    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    The family of Air Force Veteran Sgt. Millege Michael Grimes has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of their loved one's service, I have informed them that it will be our honor to do so.

    Sgt. Grimes served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War Era for three years as a Security Policeman. He was stationed in Thailand for six months, until receiving a Hardship Discharge under Honorable conditions.

    After his honorable service, Mr. Grimes worked on Robins Air Force Base for 36 years as a Master Tool Crib attendant.

    Mr. Grimes is survived by his wife of 30 years, six children, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and sister.
