    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    Patriots,
    We have been graciously Invited to Participate to be a part of a very important and worthy event to show support to the men and women of the armed forces and bring Suicide awareness to individuals, families and communities. This event will consist of an opening ceremony, a 2.22 mile run/walk while wearing body armor with name tapes of friends and loved ones lost to suicide. Additional body armor will be available on site. We have been invited to not only stand for these individuals participating in this event but are invited to be in the event itself. If you are planning in running in this event, please dress accordingly.
    The event schedule is as follows:
    6:45pm Opening Remarks
    6:55pm National Anthem
    7:00pm Start
    Start: 2.22 mile run/walk
    Finish: 22 push-ups as a group

    Staging is at 6:15 pm at Golds Gym, 2485 Hope Mills Rd, Fayetteville, NC. We will brief at 6:30 pm, those not participating in the event itself, we will establish a flag line after the briefing and stand down at the end of the finish part of the event.
