ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, the family of US Army Veteran Charles Palmer, Jr. has asked us to stand in Honor of his life and service to our country at his Memorial Service, during Military Honors. Charles was the last surviving child of 12. Charles enlisted in the US Army on 24 Jan 1952 and served on the front lines as an infantryman during the Korean War until 23 OCT 1953, which reportedly, he was extremely proud of. During his time in service to our great Nation and fighting for our freedom we hold so dear, Charles earned several awards: the Bronze Star, Combat infantry Badge, United Nation Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 2 Service Stars, 1 Overseas Service Bar.
Please join me as we Honor this true American Hero from the greatest generation as well as support his family and friends.
MISSION DATE: 22 APR 2017 / Saturday
MISSION PLAN: We will provide a flag line prior to the Memorial Service and remain for Military Honors shortly after the start of the service
