A grateful nation thanks you, Frank, for your honorable service to our Country during a period when such service was frowned upon by many. It's because of men and women like you, who answered that call to arms that we continue to enjoy our freedom and liberties today. May God welcome you with open arms as you approached the Gates of Heaven.

May your family and friends find a measure of comfort through His healing and mercy and may they all soon realize that, although no longer with them on this Earth, you continue to watch over them from your place among the Angels.

Stand at ease, Specialist! Your tour of duty is now complete and we have the watch. May you rest in Honored and Eternal Peace. God Speed, Sir, and Welcome Home!
    Respects,

I wish to thank Frank G. Baker, lll for his service to America during a time when it was unpopular to serve. When your country called, you answered…you served with honor, and now it’s our turn to honor you. Though it is years too late, America now stands ready to offer the respect you so richly deserve. I salute you for your service, and trust that your family will find peace and comfort in the days ahead.

As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and watch you while you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.
