ABOUT THE MISSION:
Dewey Worthey 90, Honorably, and Proudly served in the U.S. Amy during WWII, and in the Korean War. His rank is unknown. He is survived by three sons, one daughter, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be at Holly Grove United Methodist Church, north of Hope on County Road 228 at 1:00 PM.
Burial will follow at the adjacent cemetery with Military Honors, and a Flag Line.

Hempstead County Road 228 {Take I-30 Exit 31, then Hwy 29 north from Hope (29 splits off to the right). Road makes a hard 90 to the left then a hard 90 to the right, look for a cemetery with a new chain link fence on the right. At the top of the hill County Road 228 turns to the right (Church sign is faded, and hidden by stop sign). Follow this gravel road about .7 miles. Church/Cemetery is on the left}

Expect a short Funeral Service at 1300, then burial with Military Honors, and a Flag Line at graveside.
