    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    1st Lt Edward Andreas, 94, served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1944-1946 as a B-24 Liberator Pilot during WWII on 52 missions with the 459th Bomb Group. Awards include; Air Medal (3), Distinguished Unit Badge, EAME Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal

    Survived by his wife, two sons, and several nieces and nephews

    Full Military Honors by the American Legion Post 64, Heber Springs, and a PGR Flag Line for the Interment Service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery adjacent to the church.

    Catholic Point Road should be accessed from Hwy 9 just south of Center Ridge.

    My wife and I offer our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of an American hero. We pray that God gives you peace and strength to carry on in this difficult time. We are proud to honor the service this hero unselfishly gave for our great nation.
