    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    Three airmen, Capt. Andrew Becker, Capt. Kenneth Dalga and 1st Lt. Frederick Dellecker, assigned to the 318th Special Operations Squadron tragically lost their lives when their U-28A crashed during a training sortie, at 6:50 p.m. March 14, 2017, about a quarter mile east of Clovis Municipal Airport in New Mexico.

    A community wide candlelight vigil honoring our fallen heroes is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday in front of the courthouse, 7th & Main.

    Parking will be congested. I will arrive early with flags and hope to park in the library across from the courthouse. If lot is full, parking should be available at 8th & main, teen court building (one block away).

    Special Instructions:
    After the briefing, we will go to hanger 4610 and stand our flag line. We will stand down when service begins and plan on standing once again at the conclusion of the service.

    Access to base is often difficult. If you don't have a military ID, text or email me your name, drivers license # and vehicle. You will need to go to the visitor center at main gate entrance to the right and someone should be there to sign you on. Please arrive by 0830. Standard riding gear required plus helmet and long sleeves.

    I will need your info by 0700 Tuesday morning to pass to security police front gate.

    Bike flags would be nice for display outside the hanger, otherwise not needed.

    Members of 318th and CE are encouraged to stand with us and the PGR may play a supporting role for the military members we're honoring. If coming in from out of town please bring flags as I only have around 40.
