    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    The family of Petty Officer First Class Starkey has cordially invited the Patriot Guard to escort and stand in his honor at Barrancas National Cemetery. Petty Officer Starkey served 14 years and 8 months in the US Navy. He was awarded Three Good Conduct Awards, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and a Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon. Trahan Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, Pensacola, FL is in charge of the arrangements. We will proceed from Trahan Funeral Home to Barrancas National Cemetery for Honors.

    Naval Air Station requires that we wear long sleeve shirts, long trousers, full fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be required while riding aboard the base.
