Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing your loved one with all of us, their sense of duty and honor will live on for generations to come. God Bless you our Hero for a job well done.Stand down and rest in peace.

As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and watch you while you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.

Mission Complete: 20 March, 2017 – LCPL Michael Ray Boulware, USMC Veteran, Moore/Okla. City, OK

On Monday, March 20, 2017 there were 18 Riders on 14 bikes and 3 cages who attended the mission to Honor the Military Service of USMC Veteran LCPL Michael Ray Bourland at the Fresh Start Community Church in Moore.

The area surrounding the church was staked, and the American Flag flew proudly in the light wind as family and friends arrived.
The briefing was held, followed by a moment of silence for the Blue, Silver & Gold Star families, POWs and MIAs. A prayer asking comfort for the grieving family, a safe mission and protection for our military personnel engaged in the Global War on Terror was also said.

The Riders stood the flag line, standing on both sides of the entry doors, and manned the doors as family and friends arrived for the service. When the service started, PGR members returned the flags to the flag vehicle.

At the conclusion of the service, Riders stood a Respect Line as the Hero was moved from the chapel to the coach. With the able assistance of the Okla. City Police Dept., the assembled Riders then escorted the Hero, family and friends to Arlington Memory Gardens in Okla. City, which had been staked and flagged prior to the arrival of the escort, and stood another Respect Line as the Hero was moved from the coach to the grave site by pall bearers consisting of friends of the Hero.

After a short message and prayer by the Minister, Patriot Guard Riders folded the flag and played Taps before presenting the flag to the Hero’s Spouse. Other PGR read and presented the Plaque, Invocation, and condolences to Mrs. Bourland, and thanked her and the Bourland family for allowing us to attend and stand in honor of their hero.
Thank you to all of my fellow Riders for attending this mission. Your presence made a difference to this family. Most of all, thank you LCPL Michael Ray Bourland, for your service to this great nation. Rest in Peace Marine, your mission is complete, and you will not be forgotten.

    Respectfully,
    RCIC Ray “rayneman” Gehrig
