    ABOUT THE MISSION:

    The State of Mississippi mourns the loss of Volunteer Firefighter Loretta "Lorrie" Sykes, her family has requested the PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS help honor and pay respect for her dedicated service to her community.

    Lorrie and her Firefighter working partner were tragically killed on Wednesday 15 March while on duty, helping others at the scene of an accident. She worked for both the Sumrall and Hickory Grove Fire Departments.

    VISITATION: Sunday 19 March 2017 at HULETT-WINSTEAD FUNERAL HOME, SUMRALL CHAPEL, Hwy 589; Sumrall, MS 39482, the PGR will provide a silent US Flag line for visitation from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

    Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.

    FUNERAL SERVICE: Staging Monday 20 March 2017 at 12 Noon at the Sumrall Chapel, the PGR will provide a silent US Flag line until the beginning of the funeral service at 1:00 PM.

    ESCORT: Immediately following the funeral service, the PGR will escort Lorrie to MILITARY BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY and provide a silent US Flag line for the graveside service.

    NOTE: The escort distance is approximately 2 miles, large motorcycle mounted US Flags are encouraged.

    Please invite your riding friends to join with us as we STAND FOR ONE WHO STOOD FOR US !

Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten.
