    USA

    MULTI-CITY, Florida - 21 Mar 2017

    ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Terry Lee Smith has graciously requested the patriot Guard Riders presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest.

Mr. Smith faithfully served his Country in the U.S. Army for six years and served an overseas duty assignment in Germany while performing duties as an Ordnance Supply Specialist.

Upon completion of his service, Mr. Smith received an Honorable Discharge and awarded (partial list) a Marksmanship Ribbon (M-14) and a National Defense Service Medal. No additional military related information is available at this time.

During Mr. Smith’s post military service, he worked at UPS freight for 28 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed riding his trike motorcycle and considered it a privilege to show his Honor and Respect to other Veterans by being a member of the PGR.

Part 1 is an escort only (approximately 30 miles) from the Funeral Home in Zephyrhills to Bushnell.

Part 2 is a Committal Service at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of this American Hero, a grateful nation mourns your loss. Find peace, strength and comfort in the knowledge that your fallen hero gave unselfishly of themselves in order to keep us all free and safe. Your brave warrior will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing your loved one with all of us, their sense of duty and honor will live on for generations to come. God Bless you our Hero for a job well done.Stand down and rest in peace.

As I sit in Heaven, and watch you every day,
I try to let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and watch you while you sleep,
I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have life, that was denied to me,
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free,
Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.
