THIS WILL BE A JOINT MISSION BETWEEN N.E. TEXAS AND THE N.W. WEST LOUISIANA PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS.
Born: OCTOBER 10, 1931
Deceased: MARCH 28, 2014
His family has requested that the PGR attend his services. The mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made. Mr. Minton joined the Air Force during the Korean War, serving in Korea and later in Vietnam as well, where he earned the Bronze Star Medal in 1968. He retired from the Air Force in 1980.
Escort: 12:45 PM Tuesday, April 1st at the Meadow Funeral Home, 1804 S. Washington Ave., Marshall, Texas 75670. The East Texas Riders have been asked to accompany Mr. Minton and his family from Marshall to Louisiana, where the Louisiana will take over the escort.
Staging: at the funeral home from 12 noon to 12:30 PM with a riders meeting at 12:30 PM, and KSU at 12:45. All riders must be fueled and ready to roll as far as the Louisiana Exit #3, where we will meet the Louisiana Riders. Anyone wanting to continue to the Northwest Louisiana National Cemetery will be welcome. All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to Flag Line. Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission (SEMPER GUMBY).
Graveside Services: 2 PM Tuesday, April 1st at the Northwest Louisiana National Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Road, Keithville, Louisiana 71047.

ALL GROUPS, CLUBS, INDEPENDENTS, ETC. ARE WELCOME. The only prerequisite is RESPECT. Also remember, you do not have to ride a motorcycle to join in. The flag line is open to all who wish to participate.
