DESCRIPTION:HOTH Mission\nNewtonia Fall Festival\nNewtonia\, Missouri – 09-28-19\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe 44th Annual Newtonia Fall festival is a salute to the US military past\, present and future.  The organizers are creating care packages for our military deployed oversees as well as hosting veteran and military related booths\, including VFW Posts 5293 and 4142 from Joplin and Neosho.  The event starts with breakfast at 7 AM and Opening Ceremony at 8:50 AM followed by a Patriotic Parade (PGR will be in the 2 PM parade).  Lot’s of great food and a Great American pie contest.  We’d love to have any size Guard contingent to help us honor our military.  The Patriot Guard Riders have been honored by an invitation to participate in the parade\, which occurs that afternoon.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 09-28-19 \nStaging Time: 1:30 pm\n \nNewtonia Community Center\n461 Mill Street\nNewtonia\, Missouri 64853\n\n\nRide Captain: \nRobert L. “Bob” Meeks\n417-437-0719\nhorizonstravel@sbcglobal.net\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nStage 1:30 pm at the Newtonia Community Center.  The parade will take place at 2:00 pm.  The route is very short – no fear of overheating.  Please bring large bike flags if you have them.\n\nFlags & Water:\nFlags will not be provided\nIf you have large bike flags\, please bring them.\nWater WILL NOT be provided\, please bring your own.\n\n\n\nSubmitted By: Robert Meeks \nPosition: Missouri Ride Captain \n\nNote: You do not have to own/ride a motorcycle or be a veteran to join\, and membership is Free.
