DESCRIPTION:HOTH Mission\nCity of Gilbert Agent Orange Awareness Event\nGilbert\, Arizona – 08-23-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nFriday August 23rd the Town of Gilbert will light the water tower ORANGE.\nIt is Agent Orange Awareness Month. There will be an event at American Legion Post 39 (Gilbert) starting at 4:00 PM. The Riders will open the kitchen (for those who want to buy dinner) from 4:30-9:00 PM.\nThere will be music. Multiple organizations will be in attendance or have info tables set up to educate about Agent Orange\, offer resources & show what they do for our Vets. These include Welcome Home Gilbert/Wall Project\, Legion of the Silver Rose\, VFW\, VVA\, Reps from Legion Family District 12 & others.\nThe Patriot Guard Riders will stand a flag line at 6:30 PM at Water Tower Park & be there for the official lighting. At that time the mission will be complete then can return to Post for however long people want to stay. Thirty-one years ago\, the USS Avenger was commissioned and was first homeported in Charleston\, SC. The Plankowners’ reunion is set to take place aboard the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant.
