DESCRIPTION:Arlington National Cemetery\nJames McCaffrey Watts\, Retired\nUSAF \, GW/ODS\nAlexandria\, Virginia – 05-05-21\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nMSgt James “Jim” Watts\, 64\, of Charlotte\, NC died January 19th 2021. After college\, Jim joined the USAF and proudly served for 22 years. He served as a crew chief on an E3 Sentry AWACS Airborne Warning & Control System aircraft. He flew missions in and over combat zones during Desert Storm/Desert Shield in West Asia. Stateside\, he was stationed on Tinker AFB\, Colorado\, home of the AWACS. After retirement joined the Tinker AFB Civil Service and served as a crew chief there another ten years. Jim was an avid studier of the Bible and US Military History. MSgt Watts is survived by a loving family and missed by all who knew him. He is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery and PGR has been invited to attend the services.
