DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\nHOTH Mission\nPGR’s Vietnam & GWoT Wall Display\n\nMerritt Island\, Florida  05-28/30-21\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nDue to Rolling Thunder’s “Ride For Freedom” in Washington DC being discontinued after their 2019 event\, each state has created their own separate events. This year Rolling Thunder in Florida is having their event in Merritt Island at the Veteran’s Memorial Center and has requested the PGR to display our Vietnam & War on Terrorism Walls.\n\nThe Walls will be on display starting Friday 05/28/21 through Sunday 05/30/21\, with a candle light vigil scheduled at the Vietnam Wall Friday at 9:00 PM.\n\nRolling Thunder is expecting 1\,000 +/- attendees during this event & for their “Freedom Ride XXXIII” on Sunday\, so your support would be appreciated.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 05-28-21 \nStaging Time: 9:00 AM  \nVeteran’s Memorial Center\n400 S. This is their 15th annual Memorial Day Ceremony to Honor our Fallen Brothers and Sisters.\n\nThis year\, U.S. Army Green Beret\, MSGT Shawn Simmons will be Honored\, as he was KIA\, June 29\, 2008 in Afghanistan.\n\nKeynote speaker will be U.S. Marine & Desert Storm Veteran Kevin Youngblood.\n\nPlease bring your 3 X 5 American flags and join us as we stand in silent honor and respect for our fallen hero\, his family and a community that suffer from the loss.\n\nNote: The PGR is invited to attend the service with reserved seating provided.
