During these memorial events\, the bells rung will not signal anyone’s presence\, but instead will toll in their absence. RC did recon and the road is firm but with unknown weather it could become slick. Among his many accomplishments and awards\, service history and experiences is a Purple Heart. He served as Command Sergeant Major of USAR forces at Walter Reed Army Hospital during Operation Desert Storm\, 455th General & Field Hospitals\, 351st General Hospital\, 2290th U.S. Army Hospital\, 865th Combat Support Hospital\, 804th Medical Brigade and 1st U.S. Army AMEDD Recruiting Battalion. He was a life Member of Vietnam Veterans of America\, current Vice-President of VVA Chapter #818\, Rhode Island VVA State Council President\, Past Department Commander of the Rhode Island Department of the Disabled American Veterans\, Post 3\, Rhode Island United Veterans Council\, Rhode Island Veterans Legislative Advisory Board\, Life Member of the Association of the United States Army\, Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11519\, and a Life Member of the American Legion Post 14. Jeffrey received the Bronze Star Medal\, the Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award)\, the National Defense Service Medal\, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Stars\, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (2)\, Driver Badge and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.
