Jones\, Retired\nUSA – Vietnam\nWinchester\, Virginia – 09-09-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nColonel Julius E. “J” Jones 81\, US Army (Ret) of Atlantic City\, New Jersey\, died on 13 April 19 in Martinsburg\, WV\, after a long battle with Lung Cancer.  As an Army Officer\, he served 26 years\, mostly in the Ordinance Corps\, in Logistics.  He had tours in Vietnam\, where he was in charge of a Chemical Depot\, where Agent Orange and like chemicals were stored.  His last duty assignment was as a Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army.  Col Jones is survived by his wife Audrey and a large and a loving family.  He is missed by all.\nCol Julius E. Veteran Fowler served in the USAF from May 1952 to May 1956\, with six months of overseas or sea duty\, and attained the rank of Airman Second Class (A2C). Commendations received included the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. A2C Fowler\, a grateful nation thanks you and is indebted to you for your honorable service. Your sacrifices have granted us the freedoms we continue to enjoy to this very day.
