Mr. Lalinsky served with A Battery\, 4th Msl Bn.\, 44th Artillery Div. in Korea from 1966-1967. He received the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Lalinsky worked as a Dock Worker\, then as a Truck Driver for Detroit Diesel\, retiring after 33 years. He was also a member of the Gold Wing Chapter “H” during the 1980’s & 1990’s. He rode the Dragon’s Tail in Tenn and some Paul Revere Rides over the Mackinaw Bridge. Mr. Lalinsky leaves behind his Wife\, one daughter\, one son\, 7 grand children\, and 3 great-grand children. Also\, 3 sisters and 2 brothers (one is PGR RC BUBBA). He was preceded in death by his parents\, and a step daughter. In November 1950\, Cpl Lawler was a member of Company M\, 3rd Battalion\, 8th Cavalry Regiment\, 1st Cavalry Division. He was reported missing in action on Nov. 2\, 1950\, when his unit was attacked by enemy forces near Unsan\, North Korea. His remains could not be recovered following the attack and he was not reported as a prisoner of war. He also served on the Florida State Advisory Council on Jail Diversion Trauma-Related for OEF/OIF Veterans and on the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network Board of Directors. His volunteer work began with the Salvation Army’s Borden Avenue Veterans Residence in Long Island City\, NY when he became homeless for the first time. He worked with Catholic Charities Food Pantries\, Swords to Plowshares in San Francisco\, CA\, Operation Dignity in Oakland\, CA\, Citiview Connections Clubhouse in New York City\, Hillsborough County Recovery & Resiliency Taskforce\, Department of Children and Families Services and a number of grassroots organizations doing homeless outreach and jail diversion. Mr. Edwards was a Certified Veteran Peer Support Specialist who never failed when called upon to help a veteran in distress\, regardless of the time of day or circumstances. Because of his stature\, he was described by some as a gentle giant with a special soul. DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nJohn A Hoffmann\nUSMC  \, Vietnam\nMarietta\, Georgia – 07-25-19\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nIt is our honor to assemble\, at the family’s request\, and stand a silent flag line to show Honor and Respect to USMC CPL John A Hoffmann at the celebration of his life. In 1968 \,at the height of the Vietnam war DR. Hoffman graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield\, Missouri\, a suburb of St. Louis\, Missouri Shortly after completing his chiropractic education Dr. Hofmann was drafted into the U.S. Marines. He served one tour of duty in Viet Nam encountering extensive combat and was exposed to warfare-related agents that would ultimately contribute to a decline in his health.\nFollowing an honorable discharge from the Marines\, Dr. Hofmann sought licensure to practice chiropractic in Michigan and in 1972 he established his first office in Allen Park\, Michigan. Upon his retirement from active practice Dr. Hofmann’s son\,  now a chiropractor himself\, assumed the responsibilities of his father’s practice.\nOne of his greatest passions in life apart from his family\, was Life Chiropractic College which he helped found in 1974 in Marietta\, Georgia. He offered his time\, treasure and talent to see the College grow into Life University and went on to serve as a senior adviser to every president of Life University. Along the way\, he had the pleasure of seeing his daughter\,  and his son\, earn their Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degrees from the institution he worked so hard to establish.\nDr. John Hofmann\, the chiropractor and John Hofmann\, the U.S. Marine were never far apart. Foster\, 78\, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of his service to our country.\nMr. Foster was born 6 July 1941 and passed 19 July 2019.\nMr. Foster enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in April of 1961 until April 1965 and was trained on radar equipment. Mr. Foster was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base and the 698th Radar Squadron\, Thomasville Air Station. Mr. Foster was on active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962\, where Airman Foster and others were known as “Scope Dopes” watching the skies between the mainland USA and Cuba.\nHe enjoyed woodworking and building\, hunting\, golfing\, bowling and playing cards\, especially Euchre\, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.
