Clark Lamson\, as he was known\, of St. Albans\, Vermont passed away July 3rd\, 2018\, in Burlington\, Vermont from injuries from a motorcycle accident surrounded by his loving family.\nClark was born on June 18th\, 1938\, to Rollin and Bertha Lamson. He attended Burlington High School and after graduation\, he went on to get an Associate’s Degree in Accounting at Champlain College in Burlington.\nClark joined the Army in 1961 and after his active time he joined the Vermont National Guard. Clark was an avid motorcycle rider and took to the road as often as possible. He dedicated his life to working charitable events\, helping others. Clark believed that giving of himself was the ultimate way to show his appreciation for a fulfilling life. He and his wife Donalee provided food for Martha’s Kitchen for 9 years ensuring the pantry for less fortunate was always full.\nClark was a major contributor to the Army and the Air Force Family Advocacy programs with donations to deployed soldiers and airman and family support during holiday seasons. He retired as a Staff Sergeant in 1992. Craig was an Aircraft Inspector at the Winder/Barrow County Airport. DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nKenneth Booth\, Retired\nUSAF – WWII\nMonroe\, Louisiana – 07-08-19\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nHe was a student at Alfred University when the news of the bombing of Pearl Harbor broke out.  He volunteered for the Army Air Force and became the pilot of a B-24\, which he named the Dottie Darling after his soon to be wife\, Dorothy Steen.  In WWII\, he flew 50 combat missions as a member of the 450th Bomb Group\, the “Cottontails” and was part of the historic bombing of the oil fields of Ploesti\, Romania.  Lt. Col. Booth was honored with various medals of distinction\, one being the Distinguished Flying Cross; the Air Medal with six Oak Leaf clusters; the European\, North African and Middle East Campaign Ribbons; and seven battle stars. When he was 92\, he was awarded France’s highest medal\, The Legion of Honor\, at a ceremony at Chennault Aviation and Military Museum in Monroe. He flew in the Consolidated B-24 Dugan Wagon plane\, 17 missions as Front Gunner\, with 12 of those Missions in the Lead Plane. He then flew in the Boeing B-17: 10 Missions as the Waist Gunner. After the Military\, Mr. Breeding worked at and retired as the Quality Control Manager of an automobile tubing facility in Luzerne Michigan. He served on the USS Maddox from 1949 to 1950 and again from 1952 to 1954. Petty Officer Mohrhauser served during the Korean Conflict and received the Korean Service Medal\, United Nations Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He served in the National Guard\, US Navy Reserve and US Navy. After his military service\, he worked for Caterpillar selling equipment and loved his job. Petty Officer Mohrhauser loved family\, bowling and music. He was a true Patriot and many of his descendants have or are now serving in our Military. He is survived by many and will be missed by all. He will be buried alongside his wife who passed many years. This will be a 2 stage mission.
