Intoccia\, 62\, of Olney\, MD by standing a Flag Line during his visitation on 31 May 2019 and again briefly on 1 June 2019 prior to church services. Lt Col Intoccia died on 25 May 2019. A graduate of the USAF Academy\, he proudly served as a JAG officer with DOD. He went from Active Duty to a career in the Reserves\, and was recalled to active duty in support of the Iraq & Afghanistan wars\, serving in the office of the Secretary of Defense. Among his many awards and commendations are the Air Force Commendation Medal\, National Defense Service Medal w/1 device\, USAF Longevity Medal w/3 devices and the GWOT Service Medal. He spent 36 years between federal civil service\, military and private law. He is survived by his wife Mary\, three daughters and a large and loving family. He was preceded in death by a daughter\, his parents\, and a brother. Farris is survived by his wife\, two sons\, daughter\, 7 grandchildren\, and 3 great- grandchildren along with many loved nieces and nephews. Farris fought a courageous battle with Parkinson’s. The love of people helped him work with kids at church in the RA’s plus Boy Scouts and youth. Hunting and fishing gave him many hours of pleasure.
